Mathilda is 6 weeks old! She's getting better at napping during the day- which means I'm not checking into the asylum quite yet. The best part about this past week- she has started to smile at us! I didn't catch any of these purposeful grins on camera, but will try to this week. We still can't make them happen but every once in awhile while talking to her she smiles- its amazing! She also turns her head to follow us if we walk around the room, and is getting more into toys like her playmat. I took a cute video of her playing on her mat and giggling but blogger is having trouble uploading it. ah well- take my word for it, it's adorable!
We've had a week of gross rain plus my car was in the garage, so we were unfortunately housebound. The sun finally came out this weekend and we spent the entire time outside. The garden is completely put in, flowers in the baskets, and we fired up the grill. Of course, it's raining again today. I took a few pictures to capture some classic Mathilda moments in week 6:
