15 months!

It is true. We no longer have a baby. We have a toddler.  Who runs, and talks (27 words and counting!), and has opinions about everything from books to food to playtime activities.
Three long months have gone by without a status update, complete with our good friend elephant. Here, for your viewing pleasure, I present the 15 month photo shoot:

is she rolling her eyes at me?

"reading" her favorite book- Global Babies

impossible to get her to hold still AND smile AND look at the camera at once. One of many many outtakes.

losing interest
when I asked her to hug elephant, she said "no", then "moo" and plopped over onto her cow pillow.

denim mini? check. hot pink kicks? check. set of keys on M keychain? check. Ready for school!

We had a 15 month pediatrician appointment this week. Instead of impressing Dr. Levine with her expanding vocabulary, her ability to identify body parts in English and French, or her sweet singing voice, she screamed from the moment he walked into the room to the moment we left the office. He said a lot of kids are scared, but she had a particular amount of "vigor" in her expression! The good news is, she's no longer anemic, and is staying true to her growth curve- 31.75" tall (75th%) and 23.5# (50th%).  You wouldn't guess from her cankle over the socks muffin top, but she is definitely outpacing her weight with her height.

Finally, I leave you with a few pages of another favorite book, "Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?" as read by Mathilda:
