Yesterday was Reggie (and, of course, Jean-Yves') 30th birthday. I was so excited, it might as well have been my birthday! I love celebrations and can find any reason to have one. This day, however, was a real reason to celebrate! It was kind of (and still is) a week of celebrations, 1) because I'm a really bad secret keeper and tend to blurt out gifts and surprises (I just get too excited, and maybe a little impatient!), and 2) when you live with someone in a house the size of a child's shoe box it can be hard to hide things. Reg said he liked that his birthday now rivals hanukkah in its days of gift giving and celebrating.
We went to a wonderful dinner last night and are having a little soiree post-Oilers game this weekend, topped off with a Caribbean dance party at a little local spot. And the fun continues!
