Mathilda has now started to put everything in her mouth

which means starting solid foods is just around the corner (probably within 2 months).
I decided to get a jump on the baby food prep by making some baby food for her from fruits and veggies that are fresh and in season now, but won't be in October or November.

 A friend got us a really neat cookbook called The Petit Appetit- all about how to make baby food from "real food".  Right now I'm freezing in these cups, but will eventually just freeze in ice cube trays and then have freezer bags full of like items.
