Oh Mathilda, will there ever be a day when I am not amazed by how beautiful you are? Your smile, your big eyes, your funny bent third toe (just like mommy!), your 2 freckles, your curly hair, your little arm rolls. Mix it all together with your big belly laughs and gurgly giggles. Well, I just can't help myself- I am more in love with you everyday!
We had Melody Farrin take photographs of Mathilda 2 weeks ago. She's fantastic (she photographed our wedding). She came over on a Saturday morning (it was about 90 degrees with percent humidity to match) and photographed us interacting with Mathilda on our front porch, back yard, and living room. Nothing posed, all natural lighting. Gillefond's in their natural habitat! She did say she can photo-shop out the spit-up that was all over my t-shirt by the end of the hour (Mathilda is into putting everything in her mouth which often includes my shoulder and anything covering it).
