Oh wait, someone (Tilly) already does, and I do look good in hats. Hmmmmmm.....
This weekend I decided that I had nothing to do (bah!) and canned 20lbs of tomatoes from our garden and CSA, while roasting a 7.5 lb free-range chicken, also courtesy of our CSA. Yes, a 7.5lb chicken is basically a Thanksgiving turkey.
I'm frequently broke and also am running out of gift ideas for people who just seem to have everything (Here's lookin' at you, Grandma!). So my brilliant holiday gift idea this year is canned stuff. Yes, stuff. Tomatoes, odd jams, maybe some applesauce.
