What a week!
Coming off of last weekend's movie shoot, we were thrust into a week that began with gorgeous spring-like weather and ended with a feverish, fussy little bear.
We live 2 short blocks from a
huge, awesome park. It's great to get a little walk or a few pushes on the swings in after work when the weather is nice.
All of these photos were snapped with my new iphone (woohoo). Thanks to Instagram some of them look fantastic, though the quality isn't as good when blown up to blog-size.

Yes, it was a bit too cold to be hat and glove-less. Not winning the parenting award this week.

In other Tilly news, our girl has also basically grown out of her 6-12 month pants. I think she has inherited her dad's long legs. She's only 60th percentile for height, but I think that's 60% leg. I admit, I've become a denim snob for my 9 month old. After wearing GAP hand-me-downs, those Target "jeans" just don't feel like the real thing! We splurged on this pair of 12-18month GAP jeans for her in "real boot cut".

Still a bit big, and a bit saggy in the bottom despite the gigantic cloth diaper. But at least it doesn't look like I'm dressing her in waders in February.

Apparently my inability to appropriately dress my child in warm enough clothes on Spring days, and my ability to keep her over-scheduled and exhausted paid off with 2 days of fevers and the fussiest little baby you've ever met. Here she is in the one smiley moment she had all weekend- having a laugh with that awesome other baby at the pediatrician's office.
|
And here is how she spent all day Sunday, wrapped snuggly in the Moby wrap. All she wanted was to be wrapped around me, head on my chest. Poor thing.
i'm a member of your jean snob club and i'm not ashamed to admit it. back up, cherokee and osh-kosh. gap seriously knows what they're doing :)
