Tilly Turkey

I could write a loving post about how thankful I am for my beautiful family, my health, my friends, the fantastic dinner we shared...instead.....

I show you how we lined up our children like orphans waiting for ladles of gruel.  Please sir, may I have some more?

patience, patience
She ate chicken (close enough), acorn squash, mixed veggies, carrots, mixed grains and a few bites of my sweet potatoes for dinner. Delish!
sleepy after dinner

Cousin Elisabeth moments after sending her slinky down the stairs

HOURS of entertainment for Mathilda- sitting at the bottom of the steps, screaching as the slinky came down towards her
All joking aside, it was a lovely holiday.  For the first time since probably April, I had an actually relaxing weekend.  No school work, no house work (cause we weren't at our house) and a house full of adults to share child-care responsibilities.  I actually took a nap on Friday.  It was fantastic.  THANKFUL!
